Episode 138. How to Radically Shift Your Inner Perception and Start Charging Premium Prices with Juliana Garcia

Cait
Welcome to today’s episode of The Born to Rise podcast. I’m your host, Cait Scudder, and I am so freaking excited to introduce our amazing guest today. Juliana Garcia. Juliana, thank you so much for being here.

Juliana
Oh my god, a long time coming. I’m so happy.

Cait
Seriously, it’s so good. I know. We were just saying before we started recording, like how long have we been like Facebook, Instagram, friends, it just to finally be having a conversation feels so good.

Juliana
Yeah, thank you so much for having me. I’m so excited. So good.

Cait
So good. Well, I can already bet that this is going to be one of the favorite episodes, because I’m sure a lot of our audience already knows you. And if they haven’t, you’re welcome. Because this woman is about to rock your freaking socks. For anyone who doesn’t know you Juliana and like how amazing you are and the work that you’re doing. Tell us a little bit about the work that you’re doing in the industry and how you really got started in your journey as an entrepreneur, as a coach as a mentor as a really like world shaking woman.

Juliana
Thank you. In a short few words, I would say that the biggest work that I do is I kind of like brainwash people into believing different things about themselves, and specially around how much money they can earn, how much they can charge and how they see themselves. Because really, like, at the end of the day, the secret that I have found with my clients is just really showing them what they get to believe differently about themselves internally in the reflecting their prices. And so most people know me as the messaging queen, they come to me because they want to clarify their message to attract premium clients. And so that’s what most people come to me for. And then when they enter the container, we begin the brainwashing

Cait
Let the brainwashing began. I love it. Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Juliana
So essentially, what I do is I help coaches who are really great at what they do clarify their message, so that they can go from attracting clients that they love. And, you know, hearing then clients that they enjoy working with, I really helped them have a full roster of premium clients that are paying them more than they ever thought possible. And we just really elevate their opinion that they have about themselves in the opinion that their audience has about themselves, because he’s all interconnected.

Cait
So much. I love this so much. And I think this is such an important conversation like the regard opinion perspective perception that we have about ourselves how much that is mirrored, as you’re saying in the external in the eyes of our audience, clients community. I’m so curious if you can talk us through, like you’re talking about, you know, this pricing mentality shift into being confident to charge you know, a premium rate or to charge more than you ever thought possible, I think is the phrase you said before, and I’m, I’m so curious how deeply those things are interconnected, and what you what you teach your clients or what you share with them about that first, like inner perception. And then secondly, that outer reflection in pricing.

How your inner perception is intertwined and reflected in your pricing

Juliana
I love this question. So the conversation about pricing mentality is something that I teach my client, there’s a concept that I teach my clients called pricing innovation. And what that is, is as entrepreneurs, we know, we get to innovate in order to create value in the marketplace. But we think that we only get to innovate around our products or our services, right, making them different and our different positioning. But what we don’t know is that we also get to innovate around our prices. And what most people do when it comes to their prices, they look outside of them, to see what other people are charging. What is Susi? What is my competitor charging or what is this is my favorite, the industry standard. And I just don’t do industry standards, nothing about my life or my business is standard, that there is no reason why a little girl from Colombia that is an immigrant in the United States now should be making $2.5 million a year with a list of 2500 people.

Cait
So awesome.

Juliana
Know what I mean? There’s nothing industry standard about anything that I am or any of the results that I’ve created. And he’s because I don’t do industry standard. When I look at my belief system, I don’t look at what other people believe in terms of their price. That is their own limiting beliefs. So why would I want to look at other people’s prices? Because their prices are just their thoughts about their value about how they see themselves. And so what we do when we look at competitors is we borrow the limiting beliefs on money. I’m fully unavailable for other people’s limiting beliefs around money specially, like, I’m just I make myself unavailable for that. And the way I make myself available for that is by looking at what do I want to charge? And then I check in with myself, and the way that I decide how much I want to charge, I don’t just look at the number and look at how do I want to value my work? And if we want to take a deeper than is how much do I want to value myself, right. And there is an infinite value, obviously to ourselves. And as coaches, there is so much value that we can quantify around the result that we can support our clients create. And when we start valuing that, then we have a very different number, like the lifetime value of what you give your clients is so much greater than $1,000 a month, right? Oh, totally, oh, if you’re just getting started, and you want to start by charging $1,000 a month, then it feels very, really easy and really delicious for you to be charging $1,000 a month, even though other coaches or maybe are charging $100, right, because now you understand the value of what you create for your clients. So to me, the reason why I’ve been able to Quantum Leap so quickly, is because I don’t look at what other people are charging, I look at my own thoughts about money, my own thoughts about the value that I bring to people and then I prize from that place.

Cait
I love this so much. And it is such a radical shift I love when you said there’s nothing industry standard about me, that’s just like so iconic, I feel like you need to make me even put that on your freaking Instagram. It’s fabulous. But so true. And like what you said, I mean, what a mic drop moment that other people’s pricing is just a reflection of their money story. It’s so true. And yet how many of us, you know in a row marketing course market research, number one, and we get really off track with what we feel and something that you said about our pricing, really reflecting the perception of value of who and what we are and who and what we do in the lifetime value of transformation that we provide for our clients. It’s so interesting how simple that is, and yet how triggering it is. And the thought that was coming up for me was like that, in the way that you’re describing pricing, there’s a lot of inner work, there’s a lot of almost like healing, I would dare to say required to just stand in the value. It’s like not only what I’m hearing from you is not only asking what that number is and asking what that value is, but being willing to stand in that unapologetically to the outside world, and not feel bad, guilty, you know, and just kind of shrink back. And I’m curious for you, what has supported you and continually showing up in your bigness in your boldness in your power in your value to not only sustain but to continue to grow those numbers.

How to unapologetically stand behind your bigness, boldness, and power so you can grow your wealth

Juliana
Hmm, I love that question. And you’re 100% on point, we’d seen that there’s a lot of inner healing. And the I mean, do you have five hours to talk about this for like, your class because I. So I want to keep it to sing. It is such a powerful conversation. So for me, the conversation that I was in before I was starting, I was charging premium is I have to prove my worth, I have to prove that I can deliver this, I have to prove myself. So there was this energy of proving and require mental validation for people to be like, yes, yes, you’re doing a good job for me to validate whether I would raise my price or not. And so I would, I would be dependent again, on an external circumstance to dictate whether I was willing to, like raise my price or not. And so when we’re always outwardly focusing outwardly on what’s going on in the world, there’s going to be so much mixed feedback around our value. And so the only way that I was able to stabilize that and grounded and solidify that, but was by doing the healing part, which is looking at well, what do I think about myself? What do I think about myself as a coach? What do I think about myself? As a woman? What do I think about myself as an entrepreneur? What do I think about myself as in relationship to my business, and really looking at all of the beliefs and you know, there was a time where I’m like, I don’t think I’m that good. I don’t have my good my clients say I’m good, but I don’t think I’m gonna go Am I really? And so there’s, there’s all these wobbles, right? I call them like the wobbles of Ooh, I’m here, but I’m not really here. And so Being willing to stabilize the opinion that you have about yourself, stabilizes the confidence that you would have to raise your prices consistently. So I started in 2019, he was I started charging that year, started the year at $15,000. For my one on one, and I ended the year at $50,000 for my one on one, same pricing number sessions, nothing changed. And in fact, I removed the voxer access. And the only reason why I was able to go from one to another to another to another is no longer because I was willing to wait for my clients to tell me if I was delighting them or not, they were already telling me that right? I just wasn’t catching up with it. I wasn’t being willing to accept the truth. Because I was more committed to my limitations than my expansions. I was more committed to let me let it like I was more committed to being hard than letting it be easy and so when I was just willing to ground myself in the truth of who I was, and started, I hired myself, I’m like, if I’m the best coach, I’m going to hire myself. And I literally took I signed my contract, I paid myself, I had sessions with me. And I was like, oh my god, I got myself to 100k months. I’m the best coach that anyone could hire. Great. And that really just helped me solidify the integrity that I felt with myself. And so the opinion that I had on myself really elevated. That’s why I always tell everyone, if you feel wobbly in your belief around yourself, as a coach, take yourself on as a client, you can really just put everything because it’s like our clients see it, right. But then until we feel ourselves being our own client and be like, Oh my god, I’m actually really good. Right? It’s like you can’t it’s like you can just fake it is like you have had the felt experience in your body that you’re an amazing coach. And that just deepens your level of integrity, your level, your level of mastery with yourself.

Cait
That is so beautiful. I have never heard of anyone doing that before. But I’m obsessed with that now. It’s like making me want to go sign my own contract. Tt’s such a vibe. I love that. And it’s so interesting, because you know, we hear a lot like, Oh, what do you do if you are wobbly, or your mindsets feeling shaky, and it’s so true that a lot of the advice is like go back and read client testimonials. You know, read feedback. And it’s all like plugging into these external reflections as opposed to really marinating in that felt sense. I think that is just such a gem. And so, so important to redirect our thinking to

Juliana
Yeah, it’s everything. I mean, it’s like the ultimate alignment, the ultimate integrity, like integrity is so huge for me be living integrity with myself is so huge for me. And I had that idea when I had the realization of, well, there’s a part of me that’s not feeling quite an integrity with what people are saying when I’m feeling like there’s something off yours not quite clicking, what would take me deeper? Well, we get me to the deepest level integrity. And for me was I remember I was in the kitchen with my ex boyfriend, who I adore love have the best relationship. And I was like God, just not really sure go to hire next. He’s like, Well, what do you need? And I said, I just want the best mindset coach ever. But also I need them to be really good at marketing. And he’s like, that sounds like you. I’m like, Oh my God, because I just kept complaining about like, Oh, I just don’t feel mad in this in this in this area. This is back in 2019. And he’s like, why don’t you just do that. And I hired myself and he was like, I took myself to 100k months and I’m like, Oh my God, that confidence level was amazing leap right? And we can help relationship coaches can do these health coaches can do as mindset coaches, can all of the coaches, take yourself on as a client, just let yourself shine because when you’re shining in your own example of what’s possible, more people are gonna want to hire you because you’re literally the living and breathing result of what you’re marketing. Right?

Cait
So beautiful. I love that. And there is something so, so visceral and so noticeable. It might not be tangible, but you can like smell it you can sense it when somebody is in that integrity in that alignment. Truly, as you say the living breathing example of what they teach, preach and talk about, there’s a different energy there’s a vibe of like, Oh, she’s not just saying this here, like from her mouth. She’s like living this in her bones.

Juliana
Yeah, like I see you and I see that. Right? Like I see you and I see these bio brand belief like you stand for you. And so you stand for your clients. Yes. Right. And so we all get to be that that living and breathing and vibrant example of what we preach and he’s like the is actually very simple. Like being successful in the coaching industry is very simple. It’s not easy, but it’s very simple. It’s simple. Pick a client while you’re your work. fight for what you want more than you fight for your limitations and have your clients in the highest priority so that the more they win, the more like that you don’t even need to market it.

Cait
Totally do your marketing for Yes 100% Oh my god, we could have a whole conversation about that. But I something that you’re saying I feel like is really I mean, everything you’re saying is so freaking important. This is so good. But this piece about, you know, we were talking about this a little bit before we started recording and it’s really it feels really connected here. And that is like the the level of success that you achieve being so commensurate with how deeply you care for yourself. And I think this is really radical, especially for very successful women, women making multiple six, seven multiple seven figures like I think for a lot of women self care. And this is sort of like a you know, cliche, but like self care kind of goes out the window, more team members, more products, more things more, more busyness, more stuff to do. And you have done such a beautiful job Juliana of like prioritizing your being, I read a post of yours recently about like prioritizing your health, talk us through that shift for you. Because it was like, as you’re saying two years ago, now that you had your first 100k A month like you are no friggin newbie in this like smashing it, you know, portion of the industry. And yet, you have continued to elevate not only your income, but also like the downtime and the spaciousness, and I think that’s both like triggering and also so desirable to so many women. So unpack that for us, like, behind the scenes, how does somebody create that?

The secret to elevating your income and your downtime

Juliana
Oh, my gosh, I wish he was because it was like a really beautifully, like rainbows and butterflies decision. For me, it was a necessity, because I have scoliosis. My spine is in the shape of an S. And when I was 23, I was told by a spine surgeon in Australia, because I lived in Australia for 10 years, from the ages of 17 to 27. When I was 23, he said, you were going to be in a wheelchair by 28

Cait
Oh my god.

Juliana
And I was like, I mean, I was shocked. I was like, well, a doctor said it. So I imagine he’s going to be true. And right there. And then I also made the decision to not become available for them mentality and for his limiting beliefs around what’s possible for me. And I decided to really prioritize health. So going to the gym, I if you watch my stories, you see me workout still every single day, or three times a week with a personal trainer here in the morning, it was always a priority for me, I just, I was just doing eating the capacity that I put at the time. So I had a job of the time but I would go to my gym every morning. And I would just you know, the money that I had, I would invest it in my like my body right? Then I became an entrepreneur. And really my biggest dream was to be able to just do the self care in the mornings and not have to rush to work. And so that was one of my huge motivators. I want to take care of myself and have spaciousness to do that. And so for me, it was a requirement because when I became an entrepreneur, I went through the phase that we all do is like the overworking phase right. And by 2014 2015 2016, I was overworking and my health I got adrenal fatigue. So I really got the contrast of not taking care of myself or working and then being like in bed recovering for four months. And I just, I just recognize how that’s just not the way that my body can work, like overworking is just not a it’s not at all how I would even could function like I just could not function if I overwork so it just became like unavailable unavailable for me through even if I could even if I wanted to overwork like I couldn’t because that we would take me out fully and so I always had a little bit of self care in my life as the more sort of making a little bit more money I just had one massage every month and I remember thinking oh my god a massage every month that feels like luxurious as fuck and and then I started going to like twice a month. And now I do three massages every week. And so every single week I do 3 90 minute massages, they come to me because I’m also unavailable for commuting. Just my time is way too precious. But the way that I see I mean if you guys watch my stories if you watch my stories you see my massage therapist coming because he’s actually a client of mine. You see my chiropractor come in you see my nail lady come in you see my haircut lady come in. You see my everything people coming to my house because that’s just the type of care that I know I can have right now. But it’s not like one day I just turned that on and I was like okay, I made seven figures, time to self care. I’ve always prioritized it So what I want everyone to get from this is, you don’t have to wait to make 100k to make 500k. To make seven figures to prioritize your health, it gets to be equivalent to the amount that you’re available for right now. And I recommend that you have it as a priority, not just your body, but your your mind, right like to meet first thing in the morning, I work out and I push myself like I just, it’s just, it’s just health, right. And that has always been a thing that has supported me. And I noticed when I don’t do it, how I shows up in how I feel and how I look like you just I don’t look as vibrant, like people can tell. And so for me has just become a negotiable because now I have a team. Now I have a lot of clients and so I get to take care of me also for them. I mean, you have a baby, right? You we get to have families, we have a whole other range of people that are also in our world, that we just really get to support ourselves and pour as much as we can into ourselves so that we can be the best we can also for the people around us.

Cait
So beautiful. I love that. And that is so inspiring the three massages a week, 90 Minute, I’m like, okay, that’s expensive for me. I’m like, Yeah, that sounds really nice. But also just like so permission giving to ask yourself, like I really hear you and the fact that they all come to you like asking yourself, what would be the most nurturing for me what would be the most supportive for me and giving yourself permission to go for it again, I feel like there’s such an echo here in learning to value our work value ourselves value our time, in the pricing that we have, it’s like also value, not only what you’re able to charge and what you’re able to make, but also the level that you’re able to put that money back into yourself. Because I feel for a lot of women part of the money story, it’s not just about how much am I allowed to earn? It’s like, How much am I allowed to pour back into me? Is that selfish is that you don’t? What do you say to women who asked you that kind of who your clients who run them against that feeling of like, this is so selfish for me to do this, you know, I mean, it’s just so freaking patriarchal that we have that thought but we do as women, we inherit it and, you know, you’re really paving this way for us to release that and, and center, as you say, our own cup being full so that we can pour into our clients, our families, the people in our worlds with greater vibrancy.

Juliana
Yeah. So I love this because the question that I would ask to everyone who’s listening is have you ever thought is irresponsible to pour that much into you financially? It’s like, oh, no, it’s irresponsible for me to spend this much in massages, right? Oh, it’s even feels irresponsible to invest in this much coaching. Or it feels irresponsible for me to manage, you know, to invest in this type of insert, whatever it is, right? It’s like the feeling of I should hold on to the money because I need to manage a really well, because otherwise I’m being irresponsible. And my observation on that is or, or my perspective on that is, to me three massages a week are not a not just a luxury to me that’s been responsible with myself. What is my job is to be responsible for me, and what is responsible for Juliana is to take excellent care of herself. So for me that irresponsible, it would be irresponsible of me to not to do that, to not invest in myself to not go and hire the people that I want to hire to put myself in 20 minutes of commuting, sitting in a car when I have scoliosis. And the complete opposite result is what I desire. You would be irresponsible of me to non notice and do not ask myself what do you need? What do you need? That is irresponsible? We just didn’t grow up with anyone asking us how do you feel? And what do you need? That seems like it’s you know, it’s it’s out of these world because we didn’t grow up with that because our needs had to come later. Our needs were second. And the reason why people feel like I can pour into myself is because they were never asked what do you need and their needs were never met, their needs were never even asked us a priority. And so to me, I have really learned that my needs are really important. And that in order for me to be responsible with other people with my life, I first get to be responsible for my own health and for what I need. And what is responsible for me for my clients for my growth for my business for my team is to pour as much into me so I can have an overflow. And then from that overflow, everyone gets to have everyone gets to be taken care of. Everyone gets to win even for example, why do you charge so much why it’s why so much money? What do you need so much money for? And to me, I can I can take care of the poor being poor. Right? I can take care, I can’t expand my overflow to the poor if I’m poor too, I get to create an immense amount of wealth so that I can take care. So I can expand and know that I feel responsible for taking care of the poor, I’m just giving an example of how I get to pour from overflow, because if I didn’t have money, then I wouldn’t be able to create any kind of fun, right? Like, I wouldn’t be able to give from overflow. And so the more money that I have, the more money that I get to share and know that I even have to donate any money. We don’t have to make money to go and donate at all, because that’s another like systematic, like, you know, flaw in our thinking, like, Oh, I get to earn for doing good for the world. And it’s like, well, have you done good for you first, are you pouring into you first? Are you sharing this wealth with other people out of guilt? Right, because you think you’re a better person, when you share your money with the poor? Like, let’s just unpack all of that. And I do everyone grants to the limit, they not limit they eliminate the limitations that they have around what wealth means, how they can use it, what’s allowed what’s right, what’s wrong for them. And I don’t believe there’s any right or wrong, it’s just what is right for you, what do you need, so that you can come from an overflow and that everybody gets to have more than more than enough?

Cait
That’s so beautiful, and I think so radically world shifting for so many women and maybe profoundly confronting but also so liberating to ask ourselves these questions of like, it really hit me when you said, you know, most of us don’t take care of ourselves at that level. Because we we’ve never, it’s never been okay, whether it was in our families of origin just societally. You know, here in the United States, like most people, not entrepreneurs, but most people who work in a corporate job get two freaking weeks of vacation a year, like, we’re not in a society that necessarily externally values like, Hey, what are your needs, what would make you feel optimal today, where it didn’t take very much not on that wavelength. So to really reinvent those systems for ourselves, as you’re describing, and as you’re guiding us through is, is so powerful and such a such a rich invitation to rethink about the way that we structure our time, the way that we allow ourselves to use the wealth that we’ve created and the worlds that we can build. When we do that. It’s so powerful. And it makes me wonder for you, Juliana, like you just gave us some really beautiful examples of like, cool, I didn’t start with like this whole armada of people coming into my apartment with like, you know, just everything I could ever possibly want. You started with one massage a month. And so I’m curious if you could take us back because you just recently celebrated I mean, hello, freaking standing ovation plays a freaking half a million dollar month, like what even that is so wild. It’s so beautiful. Congratulations. It’s just so epic. And you know, you talked about as well like a couple years ago, making it 200k A month like talk to us about the evolution of Juliana from when you were making $100,000 a year two all the way up to multi millions a year, like what would you say has been the thing that has stayed consistent for you? And what has been the thing that has shifted the most for you?

How Juliana went from making $100k to millions per year

Juliana
Such a good question. Okay, so what I have noticed is what stayed the same, I’ll tell you what stayed the same. What stay the same was my business strategy has actually remained the same, my simplicity, my focus on simplicity, and spaciousness. And I think that comes from me being a three in the anagram. And having this clear direction, like we I just liked simplification in, follow through. And so I’ve been really good at just keeping things simple. I don’t I’m not the type of entrepreneur that has a million ideas every day and wants to create five products every day and has to constraint. For me, it’s been the opposite. I find one really great thing. And I just want us Master Master Master. So for me, it’s all about mastery. And so for me ever since I started, I knew I didn’t want to have a million kind of like products. I wanted to have one thing that worked really well. And so I did that. And that is what I’ve been doing. I’m not I’ve never had more than one or two offers. I think at some point I had three which is I had my one on one than I had magnetized and monetized mastermind and then I had my ascension to that, which is the momentum mastermind I had that for, like maybe like six months of the year, but really, I’ve just been always focused on just a couple of offers because I like to have spaciousness. And so that’s been really important. And that has stayed the same. The focus on messaging being the most important thing like I didn’t have a huge budget for Facebook ads. I didn’t have a huge budget for or team to cater for like a million products. And so for me, I have to Really look at what’s the most impactful thing that I can do in my business and its words. And as an online business owner, your words, whether it’s on video, whether it’s on your posts, your words are the most impactful thing that you can use and your energy. So the frequency of my words, and the actual words that I use, have always had, I mean, I was writing powerful words. You know, back in the day, I didn’t really think I was really good at writing. That’s why I set myself on this mission to learn how to write potent words that captivated people. And I became a great writer. And that’s what I teach people inside of my programs, how to have a powerful message. And so that has always stayed the same. I just this year, and we’re at $2.5 million, just started running retargeting ads, and some lead gen ads, like I feel like a grown up, I’m like, Oh, my God, whoa, wait, we’re doing this thing. So it’s like, we didn’t need that. And so I just kept the simplicity, that’s what stayed the same, the focus around the messaging about the words and around the business model being very simple. Okay, so that’s what stayed the same. My content distribution strategy is the same that it was three years ago. So I just haven’t changed that. What’s been different, hugely different. So that’s why I always believe I don’t believe that your actions create your results, I really do believe that it is your thinking and how you feel that create your results. And so I was doing all the things but I wasn’t making $2.5 million. So what changed for me was, and I noticed that I was telling you before the call that I noticed this shift in my bank account, and I any so correlated with the way that I would think about myself the opinion that I had about myself, as, as soon as that started shifting, my bank accounts that are growing. So my nails started growing, my hair started growing. Like, it’s just because it’s the nourishment that you give yourself every day, that truly shifts the way that you glow, the way that you show up the way that you feel about yourself. And then that reflects in the way people feel about you. The way that you if I’m thinking I am, well, I’m, I’m really amazing at coaching, let’s just say as a thought, and I feel just this conviction, I’m going to go into a Facebook live in a completely different energy than if I was thinking, I just don’t know if like I’m that good, even if all my clients are telling me that are amazing, right? So for me, the opinion that I had about myself is what totally shifted the way that I talk to myself the tone that I have with myself, the appreciation that I live in, so my level of appreciation for myself, became reflected in my bank account. And so that is what has gotten stronger and stronger and stronger and stronger, more than my business strategy. Now I just do the business strategy. I’m like, let’s play with some ads. Oh, what is fun, it’s like more of a playground versus I need this to work for my success to continue. I know my success is inevitable, because of the way that I think about myself. And that creates a foundation for everything else to kind of be a bonus. Right?

Cait
So powerful. Oh my gosh, I love that I love all of this so much. Like the fact that your business strategy has not changed. I think this is so powerful. Especially I was just like using this analogy earlier. Like, when we plant a seed, you don’t like dig it up straightaway to be like, I wonder if it’s gonna grow How you doing? Water like, yeah, that’s just gonna fuck with the plan. And for you to have like, really found that thing that works for you. And obviously, some business owners need to do it differently. They thrive on like inventing a new thing every five minutes. And that’s super cool, if that really works for you. But I just love that you have found the thing that works for you, you’ve really devoted yourself to mastery of that. And that has stayed consistent from like 100k months to like 250, 500kfFreaking months, like, so powerful to be able to see that shift. And notice that it gets to be your thoughts and the way that you hold your opinion about yourself that dictates what gets to be real for you. And it’s such a powerful reminder because I think that a lot of people I mean, I don’t know about you, but like when I first got into this industry, and everyone was talking about mindset, I was like, how do you become a millionaire by like having a good mindset like, right? Like, what, but now it’s like mindsets, the only like, those are the only conversations I ever have with my mentor. Like maybe we talk like a teensy bit about like, some strategy thing, but it’s like 95% mindset.

Juliana
Yeah 100% And in like with the mindset, I think what was missing for me because like the mindset conversation is just around thinking and shifting your beliefs, but really the work that totally shook me at the core was really going deeper into the somatic work for me like we deeper into how I feel like feeling my feelings, feeling the misery, feeling all the feelings and knowing that he’s saved for me to feel anger, sadness, misery, stress, like, Whatever, whatever is I feel is safe for me to feel it and be there and hold myself with love. And treat myself like I am my own. Like, I’m the mom. And I’m the child, right? Like, I’ve gotten, I hold me, I’m here. And because I didn’t have that I didn’t have unconditional love. When I was growing up, I grew up with a mom, that was very strict. I wasn’t a plus student. But if I got a B minus, we get punished in not just mentally but physically, like he was. I mean, I’m from Colombia, right? So I’m a Latina. And in Latin America, parents are savages. They literally beat you up for no reason. Like, it’s just like, just like changing your underwear here is it would be a whole thing. But there’s very normal. And so that caused a lot of there was just my feeling, feeling was not allowed. It’s like I had to be perfect all the time. And I’ve had to really reparent myself, and have such a deep level of compassion for me on all levels. And so for me, this is what also brought me to multimillion dollars is having my back and loving myself even when I had 0k months. Like, I made a promise to myself, because there was so much punishment, I had picked this up from my mom, that if I wasn’t perfect, if I didn’t have the perfect increase in linear business income and all that shit, then I wouldn’t be doing a good job. And I just kept noticing the punishment and the comparison and all this stuff. And it was a conversation that just wasn’t nourishing me that I knew was the root as to why I wasn’t growing fast enough. So I was frustrated, because I knew I was so good at what I did but why wasn’t I making money. And I recognized that the root of it all was me. I had this lack of compassion. I could cry right now. I just had this lack of compassion for myself. And you just every time I talk about it, it just like really takes me aback because it;s been such a journey for me to be so fierce about respecting myself and about loving myself and about offering myself unconditional love that I just didn’t have when I was little than now is like the most important thing that I protect. Because it’s all I have, like I it’s I am all I have, right at the end of the day, we are all we have. And so why wouldn’t I protect that? Why wouldn’t I love on me? Why wouldn’t I allow me to feel why would not allow me to fail? Why wouldn’t I allow me to make mistakes? Why wouldn’t I allow me to pick myself back up when something happens? Why would I like I have me I love me, I have my back. And so these level of unconditional love was rooted in not having it and this is why I always got my clients back to how much are you appreciating and loving yourself because that is the gateway for you to get to multi million dollars. Feeling delicious. Feeling vitalized. Feeling like you could do 10 million, you could totally see it because you know that the amount of money that is going to increase is just going to be also reflective of the amount of love that you just get to have for yourself.

Cait
Oh, so beautiful. And I literally started tearing up as you were talking because I’m literally like, and thank you so much for sharing that and sharing like that depth with us because I feel that it’s really easy to look at somebody like you who’s just like smashing it and for people to say like oh, she just like has a secret key and you’re like really taking us behind the curtain to like the deep work that actually makes the multi millionaire it’s not you know, all of the external stuff. It’s the deep inner can I love myself, can I hold myself? Can I have my back unconditionally no matter what the x k month is? Do I got me and that is just so powerful. And I was getting emotional as you were talking because I feel like I’m literally witnessing I mean we’re obviously having this conversation on video even though it’s not happening. The video doesn’t go anywhere. But I feel like I’m witnessing you speak about you literally like I’m just like sword like You’re like slicing a generational pattern. And I’m like, I don’t know if you desire children in your future, but I’m just like thinking your freaking future kids if you decide to have them, they’re never going to know that pain that you knew because of the work that you’re doing right now. And like as a mama like that is so powerful to witness because that is I mean that’s the real fucking work that’s the real shit and we it gets to end with us and we get to shift history and so you’re not just doing that in your business and in your bank account. I mean, which is fucking scary. Oh radical, it’s so inspiring and so epic, but like, that gets to ripple into all of the future that you build. And that is just, it’s remarkable.

Juliana
Thank you. I’m like over here crying as you’re saying that

Cait
I’m pregnant again, so everybody can cry. But it’s so beautiful. Oh, I love it. So good.

Juliana
Yeah, thank you. I just I really, I’m so committed to being an example of, for me, really, because I needed it. I did not have an example of a woman who would be so kind and gentle to herself who would be accepting of all of her. I only had examples of women who maybe were what like my mom, she’s successful. She, she has money like she, I mean, she’s successful in Colombia, she’s a dentist. And so for Colombia, like she is successful, but just the tone with herself with other people. It’s just not what I admire. And but I love her and accept her for who she is, right? But so I didn’t have an example. Even in the coaching industry of somebody who had just the level of appreciation for all parts of her the masculine and the feminine, the sassy, the fiery and the spiritual, the like, all parts, I had, like examples of people who were maybe really spiritual and really feminine, but didn’t really welcome their masculine, or all these kind of like one or the other. And I’m like, but I’m not one or the other. I’m like, Oh, I’m so many things I am I’m so many different types of a woman like, and as, so I always felt like, Oh, I’m not adequate. I felt inadequate in the coaching space for so long, because I just felt misunderstood. But it was because I didn’t understand myself. Right. Like, I just felt like I was too much because it because, you know, I, I thought that, you know, I was told that I was too much. And so I just had to be like, Well, if there’s no example, I get to be the example for me. So when I say I want to be the example is for me first, but also so that other women who feel like they haven’t felt understood, get to see oh, you can actually have both. You can drink champagne, and coach at the same time, and your VIP days, which I just do with my clients. Like, you don’t have to be this professional type of person, and you get to welcome all parts of you. And then that gets to be the way that gets to be the forward.

Cait
Oh, so juicy. Oh my god, I love this. I feel like we could have like a female I know right now. It’s so good. I love it so much Giuliana, I always and at the very end, I’ll ask people to or ask you to share where people can stay connected with you. But one question I always ask on this show, and it’s kind of like an impossible question. But is if you had just one piece of advice to give to our listeners, who are women who are committed to rising, committed to going big committed to creating the life in the business of their dreams, what’s like the golden nugget that you’d want them to hear? It is an impossible question.

Advice for women who are committed to creating the life of their dreams

Juliana
I mean, I just really want to bold highlight neon sign what I said earlier, which is the level that you are willing to love yourself, to appreciate yourself to have respect. And appreciation for yourself is the same level that your bank account will grow. Like, sure, you can do it the hard way. But if you want it to grow exponentially, because I know you’re all here because you want to make money because you want to crush it. I know you’re I know you’re here, right. And so if you want both, if you want the correlation, if you’re unavailable for sacrifice, then start there, the level of appreciation that you have for yourself every moment every day is going to be reflected in your bank account. So start there.

Cait
