Hello, and welcome to today’s episode of the Born to Rise podcast. I’m your host, Cait Scudder, and I am so excited to share this episode with you guys today, a series of interviews and snippets from my conversations with several women from rise 2021. If you could just like yeah, share your perspective, if you would, for somebody who’s thinking about joining rise 2022 Just what your experience has been. And if you would recommend the container for other women looking to grow their business and sisterhood and community.

Hannah
Yes, 100%. I will be straight up. And I think you already mentioned this when I signed up for rise, I was absolutely terrified. And I then remember like even before the masterminded started, I like got some advice from you about like one thing I had already made the the amount back like before the before it even started this was so I signed up in July. And then I had a workshop in November. And just some like advice from Cait, I like site, I fully booked out my one to one and it already made the investment back. So even just that alone, I remember like thinking I haven’t even started yet. And this is ridiculous. So if you need any more information, then I’d like That’s enough. But I think just having the camaraderie and having the calls every couple of weeks, knowing that you have Cait there to support you has just shifted like whether it’s a tiny thing or whether it’s a big thing, and especially for me this year, honestly, like I don’t know, how I would have my year would have looked completely different if I hadn’t been part of the mastermind because I was going through such a difficult time. And I think the mark the the the great thing about the mastermind is you’re with a group of people who are experiencing exactly what you’re experiencing. So aside from the strategy, and aside from all of the really tangible teachings, the mindset and knowing that, like if you’re having a rubbish week, and then you go on the call and everyone else is like I feel exactly the same as you and then we work through it together. It was just Yeah, invaluable. Honestly, like things have shifted so much. I’ve had like a 100k year I took two months off essentially because my depression was really bad and yet my business is still thriving. So I would obviously They say go for it, like their zero regrets. It’s been amazing. And Cait, the way that you also show up, you’re just for somebody like me who’s very not low energy and like a negative way. But I’m like, quite still just having someone who is like always backing you being a number one cheerleader, like, it definitely has made such a massive difference.

Jennifer
Totally and I wonder if that would have me, I’m sure it would have happened eventually. But it’s definitely been accelerated because of my time in Rise, right? There’s no wa y I’ve seen you Rise, right? Like, I’ve seen you like, crazy numbers that I can’t even like, you know, and, and it’s been beautiful to see you, hold us while you’re going through that, plus all of our shit. You know, and I think it speaks to the testament of your capacity to hold yourself through your last few years of business. And it’s just been, I know, I love your story. I love the way you coach on so many levels. Because I, you have the strategy, and I have the strength to feel very confident in that space when I do that with my clients. But when I need to learn as the softer side how to hold more capacity for everyone’s other thing, and also how to, like, wish, and we’ll call it work with them to empower them to rise. And I just see how you do that so eloquently, not even on just one on ones, but really group, you know, you’re able to do that. And how do you harness that space? And I feel I want to say that in my in my last year. You know, I’ve harnessed because of my own lived experience. But I’ve also heard this because I’ve seen you, you know, and how to do that. And I yeah, I thank you so much. Because that’s, that’s also what’s really important for me is when I invest in containers is not you guys only supporting me, but also like, what am I learning from this that’s gonna really support others, you know.

Cait
Totally. 100% And I mean, that is just so true for me. And for me, it’s why I literally have not been without some form of mentorship and or mastermind at like, without any pause from the time since before I started my business. And it’s because when you are held accountable, led supported, like that’s not just pouring into you and your ability to make money, like that’s also going into the way that you coach your people.

I was just talking about that, like, I met Cait like just about two years ago from a mutual friend. And I think when you’re in, you know, a smaller town and you’re not surrounded by a lot of people that have these higher aspirations that have these big visions of making more money of really like chasing down their dreams and making it all happen and knowing that it’s possible, you can get stuck in this smaller mindset of like, well how am I going to pay for that? How am I actually going to do that, where’s the money going to come from who’s going to really be the you know, clients that sign up for this is this real and when you surround yourself in a group of people that are going for it and like meeting you seeing you go for it and making it happen and you know, that only helps other people believe that it’s possible and I went through that myself with you and I’m so like honored and blessed to be able to facilitate that for other other entrepreneurs and other female wellness leaders now,

Cait
So beautiful Kat it’s so amazing. And it’s so freaking true. We need evidence of what’s possible because if we’re looking around and being like cool this is and like you know, bless our families, bless our friends who do different things to us, like all just like looking out for us and like trying to keep us safe and have our best interests at heart but like it can be really we can get the message from a lot of places like don’t trust yourself this is a terrible decision. You know, I talk about like risk all the time, but it’s like I really believe like she who’s willing to risk and bet on herself as she that reaps the greatest rewards and like sure like you have like made five figure multi five figure investments in yourself in the past two years you’ve been invited. Here’s the you two years ago, I’m sure could never have even dreamed of making 24 grand in a day on vacation like or in a week on vacation. No way just like cool like this is happening. I’m like talking about this ahead of time soulmate clients are full body Yes, like, but it’s like because you were willing to take that risk on yourself because you were willing to go first because you were willing to be like, No, I am my safest bet. I am my safest asset. You’ve opened yourself into this like incredible world where people get to find you and like, frankly, you are that person for so many women like locally in this community, far and wide across the planet. It’s just so beautiful. I love that so so much. It is.

It’s incredible. It just it’s amazing to look at like when I left corporate I think I made what I made last week and a year you know, it’s like, but you know what I mean? So it’s like if you don’t believe If you settle for that, and think that’s what you’re going to do, then that’s where you’ll stay stuck. And if you don’t take those risks and know that you can, that you can do more and accomplish more than I think that’s like just what you’re saying that’s, that’s the first and the most important step.

I love that so much that’s so, so juicy and so good.

Kat
I think it’s so important to have other people, like I said before that that show you not only what’s possible, but they’re also, you know, doing the same thing that you’re doing. And you can lean on them for support for celebrations for, you know, support during the harder times, because we know that entrepreneurship is a roller coaster, many times, emotionally and all of that it’s very important. If you go to people as much as you love your nine to fiver friends and family, like they’re just going to have a much different perspective on what you’re doing in your vision. And the more that you can find people who are on the same page of view, the more that’s only going to strengthen your vision in yourself and your projection and getting to that end goal.

Definitely couldn’t have done it without you. And since then, yeah, it’s such an incredible year and to be both, you know, in the motherhood role as well. And this last year has just been so amazing to like, have somebody who gets it also be, you know, pushing the edges of what’s possible. So I definitely, yeah, I’m just so grateful for that. So excited for what’s to come.

Yeah. Oh, good. Love. I love that so much. Well, thank you so much for having the conversation and any like words that you would share for anybody who is thinking about rise, they’ve sales page 100 times, they’re like, feeling as a container to support them. What would you say to somebody who’s in that position?

Victoria
Yeah, your body knows, your mind is fucking with you. It feels expansive, it feels scary. Like it’s supposed to, you know, if there’s no, if there’s no sensation there, if it’s not, for me, it was like, a catalyst. And whatever you’re envisioning getting out of the program is 10 times what you will, because you cannot even possibly imagine what it’s going to be like in three months and six months in nine months. And for me, really, truly like having the permission to have a year long container. And to put myself in that place of like, I’m committing to not only myself, but my business and my clients for a year in this magnitude in this way, like Mike, you know, you don’t know how many of my clients like had our one on one calls, or a group call and and have one on one, you know, my one on one clients, and they’re like, What dirty? Did you just get off of this city, so good. So like, not even for, you know, myself, but for the people that I am serving, it has been so much fun and so much permission and really getting the biggest thing for me was like to not feel alone in the struggle of the business. When these things were hard. You know, some of our calls, I’ll never forget our group calls were like, half of us were crying because we like hadn’t signed a new client. And, you know, we were just in the pits and we were each other and like, having that permission that like gets to be messy, and it gets to be glitzy. And you know, everybody gets to be in different places like that, to see behind the scenes of 20 I don’t know, I think there’s 30 in this next round. 20 other entrepreneurial people is like, freaking priceless. I could go on forever. But I think that sums it up.

I really think that for me Rise has been like I said like first of all working with Cait is incredible. Like if you don’t already know that by just being with her on Instagram. Like there’s something super special about getting to be in a more like contained sacred space with you with Kate and just like I love this woman deeply and like you will too so like she is such an amazing coach and the support that she gives me with messaging with helping me reframe situations and just like understanding the mindset work with also combined with a strategy has been so helpful for me as a human and also for my business. And then really like circling back to that community piece. I was actually having a conversation with a woman in rise and we were just talking about the mastermind and saying how you know, if you’re looking for business running buddies, like community connection around this world, you know, seeking out a program like this where you know there’s going to be quality people in it is so crucial, like as opposed to just joining any random mastermind like the people that were in rise, at least in this past year, and I’m 99.999% Certain going into the year to come, although I don’t obviously know all of them is, like just such good quality people and I just have loved learning from them. I’ve loved getting to meet them, become friends with them. And just, I really think that the community component is so so powerful. So like, if you’re looking for high quality, support, and also high quality community, I don’t think there’s a better place for you to be if you would recommend the rise mastermind is a place for people to drop in, plug in and just get supported in the vision that they’re bringing forward.

Yeah, I want to inspire everybody who’s listening to, like, get out of the overthinking and overanalyzing and really, like, ask themselves, where they’re being called to. Sometimes it’s like, what am I pretending not to know? Or like these these questions that we can ask ourselves and I truly believe that when you follow that, and you trust, like, could be somebody and can you talk about this, like your mastermind investment are here like, goodness, you know, I don’t I never thought I’d be working with her or like, you know, but there’s I woke up thinking about I dreamt about it, right? These are like the whispers of your freaking soul. So I just had three women on my mastermind call me like, I dropped about Shosh, and she showed me that there was a door opening and I’m hearing I’m like.

So iconic. I love that.

Shoshanna
Like, you know, that’s it, I would say to somebody listening, it’s like, if you’re still watching, if you you know are drawn to the space, if the values align, if like, this is what you want in your life, like being an ‘and’ conversation, cool, you already have a coach, you want to do this other thing, do both, like, Let’s break the fucking rules. And like, just know that every time you get yourself in a space that’s geared towards your growth, your evolution, your expansion, it will always pay back tenfold, maybe not six months, 12 months, you have to be investing for something more than financial ROI and especially if you’re doing it alone, get yourself in a fucking community of women who are going to like hold you high and normalize the ups and the downs and the ebbs and the flows. I can’t imagine, especially if you’re someone who wants to collapse time the quantum leaps come with a fucking quantum crumble. So if somebody you’re like, hey, this is what you might do, you know when it feels this scary. And Cait, I’m just so, so grateful for for the journey that we’ve been on together.
