Yay, thank you so much for for having me it’s been on but to organize that a couple of times that pesky time difference between the States and Australia. But we’re here and we’re doing it.
Cait
I know it’s such a biatch like the way that the time zones change on different days. It’s like it’s so annoying, but here we are, we made it happen. So good. So excited. Um, Jazze, I just feel like this could be a four hour episode, we’re gonna not make it a four hour episode, but we could obviously jam so deep on so many different things. But I want to just you know, our listeners have heard a little bit of an intro about who you are what you do, but I would love for you to, you know, like explain to us how you got started in this business, you are such a unicorn, you are a million dollar business owner, you are a mama you came from the network marketing space and have you know, evolved your business and reinvented your business and become such a powerhouse leader in the business coaching space for entrepreneurs really on a global scale. And I would imagine that for our listeners who don’t know you, or even people in your audience who’ve just like watched you rise like a frickin supernova. They might not know a lot of the backstory and the pivots and the in the movement and evolution that’s happened in your brand. So I would love for you to just like take us on that journey.
How Jazze grew her million-dollar business
Jazze
Totally and and I feel like even in the time that we’ve been working together, which is which is almost a year now there’s probably been 13 different iterations of I think we can preface this entire conversation by saying I am a manifesting generator. So if you’re listening to this, getting, you know, total anxiety about Jazze whiplash and all the different things then you will be forgiven.
Cait
I was literally just gonna say if you’re getting whiplash, it’s an MG thing.
Jazze
Yes, totally. So I did start my business in network marketing and at the time, I was working as a corporate lawyer and it was interesting was an interesting time to be honest, because I have always been very ambitious. Always pretty type A, my top strength and like the Gallup’s StrengthsFinder test is competition. So I am unbelievably competitive with myself. My energy coach recently actually told me to try and find something that I am shit at so that I can stop trying to just like do she was like, just go and do some crocheting or knitting or
Cait
Let’s slay this blanket.
Jazze
Yeah, totally, just like that is not allowed. But it was interesting because I had every intention of becoming a partner in the firm that I started my career at. And I worked a lot of long hours, I worked all nighters every now and then I would often finish work after 10pm. And I thought, I just thought it was the greatest thing. And it was an interesting environment, because you’d get in the next day and, and people tell me time to get home, I left at midnight, and they’d be like, Oh, so cool. Like it was it was totally glorified. It was such an interesting kind of environment. And I had my daughter, and then return to work. Pretty soon after she was about six months old, when I went back to work, I got a had an opportunity to go in house at a big bank. And it was one of those opportunities where you just don’t say no. So we kind of made it work husband was was a professional athlete at the time, that was his offseason. So it was literally like, let’s just go for it went back to work. And I reckon within two weeks, I knew that it just, I couldn’t make it work. And even though I have such a strong work ethic, and so many of my results in my life have come from dedication and commitment and just grit. I just wasn’t prepared to make the sacrifices that they that they wanted, you know, that was required, really, in that environment. And so I started looking for different income streams. And I’d always been really interested in fashion. So I’ve even looked at starting my own fashion label, I’d looked at opening a store, and I just kept coming up to like quite a lot of just challenges and roadblocks. You know, if I opened a store, that would mean, I would definitely need to leave my job, you know, which is much riskier, from, you know, from a financial side of things, I wanted something that was online and flexible. And so I looked into the fashion label, and just so happened that at the time we started, had started using doTERRA essential oils, and my husband just said to me one night, all you do is research and make a list of all the damn oils you want to buy. So why don’t you just give that give that a crack? And so I said, Yeah, cool. Let’s do it. And one of the reasons that I think we rose so quickly in network marketing, I mean, we had a six figure business within seven months. And yeah, within 15 months, I think we were multi six figure was because it was it was we didn’t do it the network marketing way. You know, like we, I was very intentional about building a personal brand and going out of business loan, I went had a branding shoot, I had a website done all things that are not as common with network marketing, but I was so intentional from the start of building a brand. And so when the the transition into coaching happened, you know, realizing that that’s the biggest thing that I loved about network marketing was mentoring. That was a pretty easy transition because I had built a personal brand from the start. So I didn’t feel like I was starting again. And I had people kind of knocking on my door for a long time to be coached. Because I was kind of building that brand from the start. So it wasn’t long after I started that that I started coaching and yes, since that time, my coaching business has had various different iterations. I’ve coached network marketers and then I shifted into you know, more general business coaching I’ve had a focus on energetics. And you know, I’ve trained in human design and I’ve talked so much about the nervous system and embodiment and feminine energy and all the things because I’ve just spent the last few years really learning and integrating and embodying and really untethering I guess from all of all previous ways of being that just would not serving me as an entrepreneur as a mother. And that’s been the last four and a half years in a pretty long nutshell.
Cait
So amazing Jazze. I love it and there’s so many nuggets that I want to like touch on there the bit about you know, building a personal brand and how important that is and I think it’s so amazing to hear and I didn’t even know this about your story and we’ve been working together for like a year about you taking out a business loan to get your network marketing business started and just such a I’m like so not surprised to hear that it’s such a testament to your character of like you do what has to be done like get in the room like do the thing start the business and really make a go of it don’t just like have acid really whole acid and you you know the way that you describe like that competitive number one strength and you also are an athlete and you know frigging running Iron Man’s and are competing an Iron Man’s because it’s not just running and and you know the way that you blend one thing I’m always like so struck by by you jazz is the way that you really blend this in your blood in your bones not going anywhere. And I think we share this and I love of like basketball in that competitive side because I also used to be an athlete just like that. That frickin get like get a sweat on. I’m literally taking off my shirt as I’m saying this because I’m hot. But like, get a sweat on and just freakin go out there and do it and that grit and that resiliency. But I love the way that you describe that tipping point moment for you in your career where you were like, but it’s not only this in any job that requires me to just succeed in this frequency isn’t the thing. And I just think it’s so beautiful the way that you really seamlessly integrate and blend both that that energetic of like that masculine focus, determination, resilience, which is so important and I think a thing especially when we’re talking about feminine energetics and embodiment and all of that stuff, you know that the grit and and resilience side can feel a little like scary or shadowy or triggering, but you embody that so beautifully. And all of this other stuff, the nervous system integration, the, the, you know, being aware of your own design, and how you move through the world, paying attention to how your body feels and letting that guide your business. And I just think it’s such an interesting blend. And I’m curious for you in, like how that integration feels on the inside. Because I think there are probably a lot of people who come to you or come across your page or come across your content, and are really struck by the way that you talk about feminine energetics and embodiment and attraction and magnetism and all of those things. And then there are people who are like, so freaking turned on by your like powerhouse energy and the like, one two punch brand photos and this like woman who goes in like beast mode and like trains for Super competitively and and you know, it has this, this other, you know, real fire to you. It’s like, you’ve got the fire in the water. And I’m curious for you, as the woman on the inside, like, how does that feel? Does that feel like there’s ever parts of you that are in conflict? Like, how do you see these two pieces, working together in yourself and also working together to really support your business?
How Jazze manages and balances her masculine and feminine energies
Jazze
Hmm, so really beautiful question. And I think one of the misconceptions, I think, that I had about, like, masculine energy as well is that it is all kind of associated with with doing and something that I that I learned quite early on is actually masculine energy is also about listening, and about ace holding. And so I knew that being in fight and, you know, flight mode, and in hustle, you know, was not going to serve me long term in, in my business, but it was also all that I really knew at the start. And so I created a lot of my results from that place. And when I started to really learn, and, and to be honest, that the way that I started learning was because I was doing all of the things. And I felt like I was at a ceiling, like I was like, I cannot I cannot get through this. And and that was when I started to really lean into like the nervous system work and understanding that your nervous system is not conscious, it’s not living in the conscious. So even though our logical mind will tell us that resting and receiving and being more in flow is quote, unquote, good. That doesn’t necessarily mean that our nervous system knows that it’s safe to do that. And so the moment I started to enter into anything like that, like I’d sit on the couch, and I would literally have a visceral response in my body. And I couldn’t sit still I would fidget. I would like do these weird things with my fingers. And like, my husband was looking at me like jazzy okay. Like you sent me bro, I could not I could not sit there like I was having full on body like bodily responses to doing things that I wasn’t used to doing. And that’s when I started to notice that there was it was just going to take a lot more work. And one of the first things I ever learned is, you don’t need to unlearn all the things that you’re doing. Like it’s not necessarily about, sort unnecessarily about making it bad because it’s created a lot of results in your life and the responses that our body has, is because it needs something from us there is a need that is desiring to be met. And so I also started to really re define my definition of what it meant to be in my masculine energy that, you know, hustle and you know, doing doesn’t need to be my identity. You know, I can have a strong masculine force, but it can mean what I want it to mean. And it can mean what I need it to me kind of you know, and desire it to meet in that moment. And so, the first thing I did was kind of redefine what that masculine energy was. And for me it was like, Okay, I have capacity like masculine energy is an increased capacity to hold. It’s not necessarily connected to doing. And so that was really helpful for me because, you know, like, I have a bit of a, I have a trauma response to being excessively in that masculine, it’s caused cycle issues for me. I’ve had a long cycle ever since that I that I first got it, it’s been over kind of 32 days, like, my whole my whole life, you know, and that’s something that I’m consistently working with my naturopath on. And so I have a bottle like a Yeah, visceral response to being too much in my, in my masculine. And so the worst thing that I that I could have done would have been to make that wrong. And, and would be to panic, you know, whenever I spend time in that kind of energy. So whenever I feel like there is, you know, I’m kind of battling between the two or something’s feeling uncomfortable, like kind of always come back to what belief do I need to reach for now, like in this moment, to kind of move forward and not make not allow this to kind of completely derail me? I guess. So. I don’t know if that answers your question. But yeah, for me, that, yeah, that felt that masculine energy, like I did most of my work, even though on the outside people see me speak so much about energetics and feminine energy, most of my work, to be quite honest, has been around understanding what it truly means to be in healthy masculine.
Cait
Hmm. Oh, it’s so beautiful. And I just I’m like, that is. So we need to use that as the soundbite the bit about, about, you know, masculine energy, not just being about doing but about actually being able to hold space. It’s so true. It’s like the containment the the pillars, the presence like that is actually what it is. And it’s so beautiful to hear your own unraveling and journey. And frankly, like willingness to be in that experience of whoa, okay, I’m used to like the doing function of the masculine energy. And now it’s time to increase the capacity of the holding space. And it’s not like now I’m not going to do anything, but it’s like, I’m now re shifting my entire body’s equilibrium, my entire brain’s equilibrium, my entire nervous systems definition of what it means to succeed and what it what is required to succeed. And it’s not just continually like pressing our foot down on the gas until we, you know, burn through the rubber, like, it’s about actually being able to lift that increased capacity to hold and come into more balanced in harmony with both. And I just think that’s such a beautiful and important reminder. Yeah, I just think that’s so, so profound. And one of the things that I also think is super interesting Jazze about, what you said is that you are in this space of like, increasing capacity to hold you are somebody who, you know, obviously, in the business coaching space, we talk all the time about the importance of getting yourself held, getting yourself supported, making sure you are not just trying to go it alone. And you are somebody you know who’s created now, like a million dollar business year after year, for at least two and a half years in a row, like you are not just who we hit seven figures in sales, once like seven figure cash years, has been, what your nervous system and what your being in your body has calibrated to. And what’s so beautiful about the arc of your success. And your journey is that it hasn’t just been, you know, at the expense of you know, sustaining seven figures by pressing on the guests, you’ve actually decreased your working hours, like in the seven figures in the first year was very different from seven figures in the second year. And like, I’ll never forget, when you were in launched, I can’t remember if it was for expansion are what it was, you’re like, Yeah, I’m gonna like watch a movie today. And you were like, smack dab in the middle of a lodge. And I’m like, hell yes, you are. That’s so good. And I think for a lot of people, you know, we hear the terms like scale with ease, or seven figures with ease, or blah, blah, blah, like, I would love for you to unpack for us, like further to this whole bit about masculine energy and being supported and all of that, like, what does it actually mean to create more ease inside of our business? Like how, who’s somebody who’s listening who’s like, Yeah, I’m totally down with that on a conceptual level, but like, how the actual fuck do I do that?
What does it actually mean to create more ease in your business?
Jazze
Totally such a good question. So, for me, so much of the work that I that I do with clients and just in my own business is creating something that is desire, lead and strengths lead. What I realized at the end of our first million dollar cash year was that even though I had on paper, I like that I had incredible results. And it was it was a million dollar cash hiya with one, VA. So we had one contractor, so it was me and one other person. So my costs or overheads were nothing. And yeah, it was, it was great on paper, but when I looked at it, pretty much every single result had been created. Because I was never not going to create them, right. Like, I’ve always been the kind of person that that gets results. But just because something is working doesn’t mean that it’s right. And so for me to be able to go to the next level, and for me to be able to create the spaciousness and the ease and the time, in my, in my business, I needed to change what I was doing. And so I just had this moment where I was like, even though, I’ve got the results, and even though this has been, I would never change anything, I just realized that even the containers that I was offering, the way that I was offering them, the way that I was marketing, I was doing a lot, but only a little bit of it was actually moving the needle forward. And so I really took the time to reflect on all the parts of me, you know, like all the stories that made me me, you know, the way that I like to communicate the way that I like to be, you know, I, I realized that, you know, such a key part of me is verbal communication. Like I’m, I’m the annoying friend that will call you like I’ll call a friend, and then they won’t answer the phone. And then they’ll send me a text and be like, what do you need Jazze, I might just the phone, you know, I’m the one that always I call, I can’t stand texting, I always voice message. So many of my clients, you know, came into my world, for me sending video messages and voice messages, like it’s just the way that I roll. And very, like, there was only a small part of my marketing strategy that was verbal communication. So one of the first things that I did was start doing a podcast, you know, and start doing weekly Instagram lives. And I really come back to this, this is party this is so in alignment with my strengths. It’s something that I love to do. And so this becomes the priority each week. And if that means that other things don’t get done, that’s okay. But this is easy. For me, it’s how I can kind of delete, you know, I was trying to maintain a blog, you know, and I was doing I was just doing so much that was really not producing the results because I resented doing the blog, because I don’t want to sit there and write. Like, it’s just doesn’t feel like which means never felt that good to me, you know, whereas clients that love expressing themselves in you know, through written captions and, and who journal a lot and like, go to town on your weekly newsletters and your blogs and have your work felt through that kind of medium. So I really came back to basics. And I was like, What do I actually desire out of a business? What do I desire out of my work? How do I want to feel? How do I want my clients to feel? What am I good at? What do I like doing, and I stripped a lot of it back and kind of started again a little bit. So that was kind of from the I guess the the marketing and it all the way down to like the container types and the way that I was offering things, you know, I was offering, you know, the three months kind of experience and this and this and this because that’s what my mentor at the time did. And that wasn’t wrong, it still was a great way to offer the experience. But when I looked at it, I was like, Oh, I probably would have done it this way. Or this feels really good for me. And so I started to make those shifts that I previously hadn’t really given myself permission to do. And then a big part was hiring.
Yes, that was very needed. In my business. I hired an online business manager. She’s been with me ever since. As you know, I worked with the incredible pool of Maidens who helped me to hire everyone in in my team now. And and that’s just created so much kind of spaciousness, but for me the ease came from first and foremost, letting myself do the things that were easy and not worrying about not worrying about the rest, you know, I used to do on a Sunday evening, but at the time I was doing it on a Monday, I would just ask myself like what’s party this week? And based on that, where’s my energy most required? There was two questions that’s how I plan my weeks was just what’s my priority? And and where is my energy most required based on that? And I just stripped it all back I let go of all that kind of intense planning. I just really came back to basics and spent some time really understanding and getting to know me again, and what felt true for me and I only created experiences that felt like a full body Fuck yes. Based on this based on my strengths based on how I wanted to hold space and and that’s what really allowed things to be you know, the ease for me came from from the He’s actually being easy.
Cait
I love that. And I love that you said like the ease comes in when we like, let ourselves focus on the things that feel easy. And it’s like this overlap is what I’m hearing. There’s like an overlap between things that feel easy. And things that actually move the needle and align with your strengths. And so yeah, blogging as a marketing strategy, can that work and that sustainability dollar business for some business owners absolutely is that aligned with your highest strengths and like the way that you’d like to show up and express No, so of course, it’s going to feel more hard. I love that, like really practical example of shifting to Instagram lives in podcasting, and like, connecting in the DMS in a more and more verbal and visual way. Like, it’s such a beautiful example. And reminder that if we’re insisting on doing things in our business that feel shitty and hard, it is going to feel harder than it needs to. And if we’re intentional about focusing on the things that feel easy and natural, you’re inevitably going to create more ease. That’s such a beautiful reminder. And I also love that you talked about hiring, like both team members. And also, and I want to talk about that, because I think one of the things that you have done so extraordinarily well. And yes, shout out to the amazing Paula, who is such a rockstar at helping people build teams, but like you have led this team Jazze, and you have cultivated this team and nurtured this team and the ability to like watch a movie in the middle of a launch or the ability to, you know, know your team and then be able to step back is the hands actually delegated. I think that this is such a dream for I know, this is a dream for so many entrepreneurs, because I hear this all the freaking time of like, wait, you can just do that, and your team will do it. What would you say to somebody who’s feeling like, really crunchy around the team bit right now are feeling like I don’t even know if that’s possible, like good for you Jazze, but I just I’m like struggling to even know how to build a team that will support me in the way that I want.
How to build your dream team so that you can feel nourished and fully supported
Jazze
Totally. So I really think this is connected to what I was sharing before around, getting back in getting reacquainted with if it feels like it’s foreign to you, or you haven’t reflected on it for a while back to what you actually desire. And the kind of relationships that you find nourishing, you know, at the end of the day, at the forefront of all of our hiring is, is this a mutually beneficial relationship? You know, and I think so much of the hiring process is all about who aren’t who we need, you know, like, I need someone to do this, and I need someone to do that. And then you have these kind of qualifications and the way that we’ve always approached it as, as a and I think this comes from sport, too, I think this comes from from basketball, right? Like my, my husband was a professional athlete, and he was never, for those that understand possible this will make sense for everyone else will probably go straight over your head, but he was never part of the starting five, you know, like he always came off the bench, he was never the one that that scored, you know, 25 points. Again, he was the role player. So he would come on on the court and, and he would play a role whether that was to piss someone else off on the other team, or whether it was to rebound or run the floor or set some really solid screens, like in just those like little bursts. And I often think about that with our team too, that when you’re putting something together, it’s not just about well, you’re a star and you’re a star and you’re a star, because we know from sport, that if you put 10 players that are all really good on the same team, and you don’t think about the mechanics of the team and the personalities and how everyone is going to work together, you’ll lose, that team will lose every day of the week. And so, for up for me, the way that I’ve always approached hiring is being really intentional about the actual relationship and you know, we will always be able to find someone who knows how to use Kajabi and knows how to check emails and knows how to pin things to Pinterest, you know, like that’s, you know, in this day and age in the digital space, like really? This easy part, right? It’s actually about what would be mutually beneficial, you know, what is the kind of relationship that I desire out of, you know, having an OBM you know, do you want someone that like we will say in our interviews and this is something that I reflect on beforehand is you know, if I want someone that’s going to literally check in with me every day and tell me what I told me what I need to do that I set that intention in the in the interview, and that was something that he said to me when we’re interviewing our OEMs is like, I am the kind of CEO that has the high level vision but day to day stuff. Not like if you don’t tell me what to do, it probably won’t get done. So I desire that are you comfortable with telling me what to do every day? And, you know, and if I’ve actually had someone in the interview, say, that’s not really how I like to work. And so that’s a really great conversation that we get to have early on, before they’re hired, and not needing to kind of deal with stuff, you know, down the track.
Cait
So yes, and not making it sorry, I just want to jump in there. But like, that’s such a perfect example of not making it wrong of like, Oh, I am a bad CEO, then or like, I don’t have my shit together. I think this is such an important part with team building, it’s like, there is not one correct way to run and operate a team, there’s not one correct way to scale to a million dollars, there’s not one correct way to lead. What is so important that you’re highlighting Jazze is like how essential it is to know yourself, and to make sure that your team get is like a match. And that that mutual benefit that you’re describing that there’s a synergy there and not. Yeah, just trying to squish all these talented people together, because then everyone feels like they’re doing it wrong.
Jazze
Mm hmm. 100%. And I think I think you nailed I think it’s really about knowing yourself, and knowing how you operate and knowing how you work best and, and really just allowing all parts of you to be seen as part of the hiring process as well, you know, I was really kind of intentional and open about the fact that I don’t plan things in advance, you know, in a launch, we’ll have a few things kind of put, we’ll have all our emails kind of done. But as for content, I let that flow, you know, I, I’d like to have conversations with people as part of the launch and create as I go. And so as a team, we all create space to make sure that I get to do that, you know, and so we get to be able to have those conversations together for me to say, what is kind of the base level that you need from me for you to be able to do your job. But also, like, how do we make sure that I get to thrive as a human, and I get to operate in the way that that feels good for me. So I think you nailed it. I think it’s really about knowing yourself deeply. And also, you know, I think, I think we create a lot of stories around the things that, you know, perhaps haven’t got us results in the past or were told, told us society a quote unquote, negative, you know, and, and so it’s we’re really fast to make things you know, like, like you said, Being unorganized, like, not having things planned in advance, we automatically go to that it means you’re unorganized. You mean you’re not a CEO. And so I really just left all that shit at the door. And was like, this doesn’t need to mean that I’m unorganized. This is just me responding as a manifesting generator to conversations and situations that I’m putting in. I’m experiencing you know, so it was just really, I think having a like, hyper self awareness as I was going through all of these processes and catching as many things as I possibly could and just, I guess applying some objective curiosity to that. Hmm, that’s, that’s really interesting. It’s really interesting that that’s something that’s coming up here like, is that a strategic thing? Is that something that’s coming from like an energetic piece and what’s kind of happening here? Rather than automatically kind of like you said, making things wrong or jumping to conclusions?
Cait
So good oh my god so many nuggets there guys, if you have struggled with team go back, re listen to the last 10 minutes like 100 times Jazze that was gold that was so so good. And the other piece that I want to talk about with like hiring your team and building yourself up because you are such a woman who walks your freakin talk and there are you know, in the business coaching space, we talk about the power of investing in yourself we talked about the power of getting in the room. You talk so much Jazze about expansion. And a you are a woman who walks your freakin talk I mean, we have been working together as you said for over a year you have an energy coach you have other people in your support squad you invest heavily in your own physical health. And I would love to just have an honest conversation about this because and I know you just bought like your freaking dream car and which is the safeguards vine I love that word car twinsies but like, the fact that you are willing like you put your money where your mouth is, you are a woman who like really dares to go first and really dares to lead by example. And I think it’s no wonder that you have created a sustainable seven figure business that is like growing year after year, not only like with revenue increasing, but also your time decreasing and like more ease more flow, more momentum, like truly a business that is so sustainable. And I would love for you to talk to us about because, you know people hear I’m sure all the time Jazze people read your bio or they hear your headline or they hear your highlights and they’re like Jazze Jervis is the biggest, baddest, like goals, goals goals. Talk to us about the freakin risks you’ve taken and talk to us about the way that you’ve gotten yourself in the room and invested before it’s comfortable and and like, you know, this is a really common topic for business coaches to talk about. And I believe that you are one of the most in integrity people that I have met, when it comes to actually embodying that message, like completely. And I would love to hear you riff on this.
Jazze
Ah, that’s so nice, thank you gratefully receiving that reflection.
Cait
Yeah, that’s true. And like, I feel so blessed that I get to witness that day in and day out. And like, truly see how commensurate that is with results. I think that’s what I really want to highlight, like, you have created something so extraordinary, because you have created consistency in this rhythm of being able to put yourself in that like teetering edge of discomfort, to make sure that you are held nurtured, supported in the biggest way so that you’re able to keep growing and expanding and like it f*cking works.
Why risk-taking and investing before you’re comfortable will help you grow
Jazze
Yeah, and I think what has come down to for me, and the redefinition that probably changed my my whole life is there’s really, and I know it’s gonna sound cliche, but I would love to flesh it out is that there’s no such thing as like, we can’t fail. There’s no such thing as failure. And I don’t even know where it first came from. When I, when I started my business, I don’t know if it was a podcast or something I honestly, I could not even remember. But at the end of the day, in every situation where either it’s either going to be the outcome that we desire, and it’s going to go to plan, and it’s all going to happen the way that we want. And I mean, look, to be honest, I don’t know if many of us even know what we want out of things, sometimes when we make decisions, but you know, it’s either gonna go to plan or it’s not. And and she’s gonna hit the fan, potentially, you know, and I think by just honoring that, and just knowing that we there is literally no certainty in anything in anything that we do. And I think I have reminded myself of that so many times, that when I’m faced with different outcomes, a stretchy decision, a stretchy investment, whatever it is, it doesn’t really kind of infiltrate my mind around what happens if this, you know, like, what happens if you fail, what happens if this thing over here happens, because I’ve made so many moves from a place of, I don’t know what’s gonna happen, and there is literally no certainty with any step that I take. And so just by reminding myself of that, it takes a while it like, releases, the pressure valve release, releases the pressure valve. And I know that if something doesn’t go to plan that I will trust myself, and I will be my own friend, and I will hold my own hand and move through it. What, in whatever way I need to in that moment, and that’s the only thing that I can control is me. And yeah, sure, it might go to plan. And that’s, that’s, that’s great. But also, I’m gonna learn a whole pile of lessons. And it’s why I also don’t think that there’s any kind of bad investments, like if you invest in a coach or a program or a mentor, and it’s not what you not what you desire from that experience. Why is that? Is that because you perhaps didn’t listen to your intuition when you made that decision? You know, and it was based on someone else saying, Yeah, go on work with that, you know, person, like, How’d you like? Did you ask enough questions as part of that initial, you know, kind of discussion, like even and, you know, not the, this ever kind of be my experience, but when I’ve spoken to people that have said that to me, right, when they’re considering investing in something that that that I offer, it’s like that that may have been an experience that you’ve had, but you get to choose, you get to decide that you’re available for a different option, like you’re available for a different outcome. And no matter what happens, like you get to decide that you will always trust yourself. And so I think it’s this combination of just intense self trust that has just come from practice. You know, like, it’s like riding a bike, you know, it’s like confidence. You want to be more confident practice going live on Instagram practice, practice, actually being confident. And I think it’s the same thing with self trust, you know, the first time it’s hard, and the second time, it’s a little less hard, and you might waver a little bit. And soon enough, you’ve put yourself in so many situations where you have taken action, even though there’s no you know, guarantee even though there’s no clear plan, even though there’s no certain outcome, that it just becomes your normal to put yourself in a room because you desire it and you are ready to claim that desire rather than, Oh, what if this happens or what if that, you know, something, you know, whatever it is right? You know, I was talking to a woman the other day, she’s a wealth advisor and she has made she is a self made multimillionaire from investing in property and other kinds of business ventures, and she has made and lost millions. This is her third time, so she became a millionaire. lost everything, became a millionaire, again, lost everything and is now a multimillionaire. And as soon as I knew that, I was like, she’s gonna be my friend, and I’m gonna get in her world, because anyone that can have that kind of mindset where they can lose everything, they can fail miserably, and they can get back up and be like, well, I fucking did it once. So I can do it again, like, that is the room that I desire to be in. And at the end of the day, you can’t guarantee shit. So you might as well just give it a crack and start to practice and cultivate the kind of self trust where you will move mountains to be able to claim your desires and to and to be able to do what you want to do.
Cait
Ah, so good Jazze. I love that. Yes, it’s so true. And so much of it does come back to self trust. And I love the frame you put around that of like, when you truly understand that there’s no way for you to fail, and just take the pressure off of okay, this is either gonna go exactly how I plan it to, which is probably not what’s gonna happen, or better or different. Like, there’s nothing to be afraid of anymore. You just get to press play, you just get to go.
Jazze
When you look at it in that way, the way I see it is like when you when you look at it in that way, there’s literally no other thing apart from moving. And that might be saying no to something like That’s okay, true. But there’s no other option apart from just decide. You know, and I know this is big for you as well.

Jazze. Thank you so much. One of the questions that I love to end the podcast with always if you had a nugget, a word of advice, just a golden just thing that somebody could put in their pocket and walk away with after listening to this episode, females entrepreneurs on the rise, what would that be?
Jazze
I think what I would share is that it takes so much more energy to think about the thing and avoid the thing than it does to actually do the thing. And so I think I think in in an industry where, you know, we’re so much more present to our mindset and beliefs and masculine and feminine energetics and all these beautiful things that we talk about that are so valid and so needed. I think sometimes we lose sight of the fact that sometimes the best thing to do is just to move. And you just do it because then you’ll figure out yeah, this feels really good. Or actually no, this feels not great. And you can pivot and you can move and you can change your mind. But sometimes the best thing to do is just do the damn thing.
Cait
